Directed by: Henri Fernandez. Cast: César Callebaut, Noémie Deperrois, Julia Guenier, Eve Laulan, Sylviane Morin, Yves Sanguinetti, Geneviève Truphème. A comic book author, while doing his shopping, realises he doesn't have his loyalty card on him. The cashier calls the security guard, but when he arrives, the author threatens him and manages to escape. The police are alerted, and a relentless manhunt ensues, with the fugitive travelling across the region, hitchhiking, roaming the countryside, torn between remorse and existential questions. Soon enough, the media seizes on the affair and the country is in turmoil. The story of the fugitive is on everyone's lips and divides society, between psychosis and a desire for commitment, between compassion and fascistic ideas.
