” This is the beginning of a family dinner during which Adrien, in his depressed thirties, desperately awaits a reply to the message he has just sent to his ex.
Between the gratin dauphinois and the speech drafts, each more absurd than the last, a touching and disillusioned sentimental journey unfolds, worthy of the best romantic comedies.
An intense introspection that spares us none of Adrien's existential torments, nor the ridiculous situations he invariably gets himself into, nor his completely futile stratagems in all circumstances.
