Carlos Intrieri Ricci was born in Buenos Aires/Argentina, settled in France in 1983, and became a naturalised French citizen in 1995.

He completed his basic and professional studies in piano, harpsichord, and Choral Conducting at the Carlos Lopez Buchardo National Conservatory in Buenos Aires (1965 to 1982).

He pursued studies and research for a Master's degree at Paris IV Sorbonne on Latin American Baroque music (research and work on Jesuit Priests in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries / The Missions).

He undertook advanced studies in harpsichord and Baroque music interpretation in Holland - Amsterdam with direct disciples of Gustav Leonhardt. He was a Yehudi Menuhin laureate (on piano and harpsichord) in Paris 1992 - Association Présence de la Musique.

He was the 5th finalist in the Radio France International Piano Competition in 1993 among 120 candidates from around the world, commented on and published by Agence France Presse.

He has given more than 700 concerts in total as a pianist-harpsichordist in solo and chamber music, organist, and conductor of choir and chamber orchestra (Baroque music) in the following countries: Finland, Switzerland, Montreal Canada, Argentina, France, Italy, Spain, Germany.
