For over ten years, WUCAN has established itself as one of the most unique bands on the European heavy rock scene.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Francis Tobolsky, the German quartet builds a universe where 70s hard rock, progressive rock, krautrock, heavy metal, and psychedelia meet with an immediately recognisable personality.

Driven by Francis' powerful voice, her flute, and her theremin, WUCAN blends the heritage of Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and East German rock with a resolutely modern approach.

An identity forged over the albums Sow The Wind, Reap The Storm, and Heretic Tongues, which have earned them a solid reputation on European stages. In 2025, the band takes a new step with Axioms, a fourth album that further expands their musical spectrum.

More ambitious and adventurous, the record enriches their heavy rock with touches of progressive rock, electronic elements, and an increasingly assertive freedom of writing, without ever losing the energy that is the strength of their concerts.

After several European tours and a notable appearance at the Freak Valley Festival, WUCAN finally returns to Paris to present this new chapter in their career.
