For ten years, KANAAN has relentlessly explored the territories of heavy psych, progressive rock, jazz, and improvisation, building album after album a sound that is as massive as it is free. In 2026, the Norwegian trio celebrates its ten years of existence with its tenth album, simply titled Kanaan, to be released on October 16 via Jansen Records, just three days before this Parisian date. Conceived as a synthesis of everything the band has developed since its beginnings, this new album pushes every facet of KANAAN even further: more immediate melodies, wilder psychedelic passages, deliberately raw analogue sounds, and, above all, heavier riffs than ever before. Recorded at Athletic Sound in Halden with Dag Erik Johansen, Kanaan captures a band that has reached full maturity but is still driven by the same desire to play, improvise, and push its own limits.

Originally from Rennes, CADUTA MASSI takes its name from a warning seen on the paths of Vesuvius: "Caution, falling rocks. " An image that suits the trio rather well, capable of building tension before unleashing monolithic riffs and burning solos. Nourished by All Them Witches, Fu Manchu, and King Buffalo, the band develops a heavy and psychedelic stoner rock that plays on power surges and changes in intensity.
