Overview
This is the story of Abezou’ch, a little boy who lives alone with his grandmother Gazella on the edge of the desert. All his family have left for the city. Overwhelmed by grief, one beautiful day he discovers that his shadow is shaped like a bird.
Initially panicked, he tries to hide it. But each evening, as night approaches, the bird's shadow thickens. One night, it begins to fly… Deeply moved by the power of her writing, Muriel Mayette-Holtz commissioned author Anne Sibran to write a text for young audiences.
