Théâtre des Variétés, Tailleur pour Dames triumphs and marks the beginning of the incredible career of a certain Georges Feydeau. A prisoner of his irrepressible need for recognition, L’Empereur des Boulevards spreads his wings over a festive and good-natured Paris. Divided between the love for his wife, his nocturnal conquests and his cumbersome characters, Georges traces back the course of his life and the illustrious figures who punctuated his journey, tinged with promises, successes, failures and revenges. From the high society salons of Maxim's to the grand stages of the capital, from his friendship with the Guitry family to his fateful encounter with an angel of the night, from his peak to his disgrace, take a leap in time to discover the man hiding behind the successful author. A show with 26 characters, paying tribute to the master of the genre, between drama and comedy.
