Chapter I:

First part of the Trilogia Cadela Força. Haunted by the tragic fate of Italian performance artist Pippa Bacca — raped and murdered while performing a pacifist art piece across the Balkans —, Carolina Bianchi exhumes fragments of an art history marked by rapes and femicides. Faced with this genealogy of artists exposed to violence, the director and author undertakes a dizzying investigation, also delving into the limbo of her own traumatic memory. In the wake of the radical gestures of the performance artists who inspire her, she puts her body on the front line. Each evening, she ingests Boa Noite Cinderela — a powerful sedative cocktail used in Brazil by some rapists to drug their victims. Under its effect, she abandons her consciousness, inviting the audience to descend with her into hell; her writing then carves a path through this interstitial space between life and death, this nightmare where the women and artists whose traces she seeks resurface.
