(Monkeypress) After more than 40 years of existence, RosaCrvx achieved from its beginnings what many seek in vain: to forge a unique artistic identity and create an authentic, incomparable universe.

This is undoubtedly due to the fact that RosaCrvx has always been much more than just a band. It is a complex artistic project within which Olivier Tarabo, its main creator, and Claude Feeny have shaped a singular cosmos in their hometown of Rouen.

Liturgical sounds, rock music, performing arts and apocalyptic visions merge into an immersive experience, and each concert becomes a striking spectacle.

The band itself has designed instruments, and their impressive carillon is among the most spectacular elements of their performances.

There, their famous animated metal skeleton percussionists play live, holding drumsticks activated by electromagnets, all controlled by a MIDI programme! It's a must-see, I assure you, a true gothic work of art! This invention also earned Olivier Tarabo an award in 2001.

Body techniques inspired by archaic societies also play an essential role in RosaCrvx's aesthetic.

Traditionally, each concert ends with the spectacular Danse de la Terre, a performance where earth, organic materials and nudity become the elements of a ritual stimulating all the senses, in which the audience is invited to be part of a whole.
