( -,,, ) Cyril Kamar, Art(s) Dealer The story of Cyril Kamar (aka KMaro) begins in the 80s. From a childhood marked by the Lebanese war – the country where he was born – to the 90s, when his family emigrated to Montreal, Cyril Kamar has always lived surrounded by music.

Initially lulled by French chanson, it was in Canada that he discovered urban cultures. He quickly forged a solid reputation in the Montreal underground scene after winning several Freestyle competitions with his first Hip Hop group, LMDS.

His style and confidence were noticed, and at just 17, this prodigy founded his own production company, blending creation and management.

For several years, he frequented – between Montreal and New York – breakers, graffiti artists, DJs, and gradually learned what would become his trademark: a subtle balance between business acumen and artistic daring.

But it was in 2004 that the Montreal artist was propelled to international success. His album La good Life sold millions of copies worldwide. Driven by the now cult hit Femme Like U, it topped the charts in over 18 countries.

The success was such that he was, at that time, the most listened to, most broadcast, and most exported artist from France worldwide. After three successful albums and an exhausting sold-out tour, Cyril Kamar felt the need to step away from the media frenzy.

The producer in him needed to return to anonymity and the studios. He then dedicated himself to developing a very young artist he had discovered and who was still unknown to the general public: Shy'm.
