Le Voyage en Uruguay

The epic adventure of five Norman bulls. In 1950, Hector Caorsi, a wealthy Uruguayan breeder, travels to France to buy Norman cows. After touring Normandy, he finally arrives at Ferme Neuve. The discussion is brief and the deal quickly concluded: three bulls and two cows will leave the enclosed pastures of Beaumontel for the Uruguayan pampa. This is where the story begins… An epic adventure that takes us from Normandy to Montevideo and introduces us to a series of characters as diverse as a ship captain, a Uruguayan gaucho, or a weeping mother on a train station platform. It's about embarking to attempt the crossing ourselves… The fabulous epic of five bulls crossing the Atlantic between Normandy and Uruguay in 1950.
