Hartwig Schierbaum, known as Marian Gold, born on May 26, 1954, in Herford (Germany), is a German singer.
He is the co-founder (with Bernhard Lloyd) and lead singer of the new wave band Alphaville, which achieved considerable success in France and Europe in the mid-1980s. He is also a co-writer and has released two solo albums in 1992 and 1996.
