About — The artist
Jacqueline Robin, born Pangnier on 11 December 1917 in Saint-Astier (Dordogne) and died on 3 February 2007 in Taverny (Val-d'Oise), was a French pianist.
She entered the Conservatoire de Paris at the age of 10, where she won five first prizes. In 1945, she formed a famous piano duo with Geneviève Joy (who would become the wife of French composer Henri Dutilleux).
