It’s a look at their romantic relationship, their creative relationship, but it’s also a genuine desire to talk about the vision of this man who changed and revolutionized American cinema, not to say international cinema. John Cassavetes distinguished himself with his very particular way of filming and telling his stories by modifying cinematic codes. Above all, he loved to talk about people, ordinary people, more particularly the American middle class. What mattered most to him was the rapport, the relationship, the emotion, and the behaviour of his characters; that’s how he built his stories. Duration: 1H15
