Résistances Poétiques

Poetry is everywhere humans resist, even in the darkest hours. In jails and on battlefields, in pain and illness, this poetic resistance is that of life refusing to surrender. As climate dikes break and war re-emerges in the heart of Europe, we need poetry more than ever.

Because every verse is a substance that nourishes. Because every poet helps us mobilise the forces that make us refuse and challenge what seemed inevitable.

Through poems and prose texts from his various works, Cyril Dion, writer, director, figure of the ecological movement and co-director of the film Demain, offers a poetic experience carried by the music of Sébastien Hoog, guitarist, composer and performer.
