P.R2B is the stage name of Pauline Rambeau de Baralon, a French author, composer, performer, and director born in 1990 in Saint-Doulchard, Cher. She grew up near Bourges, joining the municipal music school to play the clarinet, then learning guitar and writing in middle school. The daughter of a professional guitarist who passed away when she was a child, she has stated in interviews that her aristocratic-sounding name actually conceals a working-class paternal family.

Her career spans both image and sound. After studying cinema at Nevers high school and a stint at Cours Florent, she graduated from La Fémis in directing. Her graduation short film, Bird's Lament, takes its title from a Moondog piece and follows a clarinetist who discovers this composer at a record store. This dual training permeates her songs, written like scenes, where spoken word intertwines with singing.

The first EP, Des rêves, established a writing style that moves between French chanson, hip-hop, and 80s reminiscences. The album Rayons Gamma then earned her widespread critical acclaim, from Télérama to Libération and Le Parisien. She has since brought her music to cinema, composing for Kamal Lazraq's Les Meutes and then for Amélie Bonnin's Partir un jour.

On stage, she performs a repertoire driven by lyrics, with a physical presence inherited from theatre and lighting that is as important as the sound. This performance at the Élysée Montmartre is a continuation of the Parisian dates that have accompanied her records.
