Paris Danse Ensemble

As part of the Quinzaine de l’accessibilité and the Paris Bouge Ensemble event, Johan Amselem, choreographer and artistic director of the dance company La Halte Garderie – Association AD’RÊV, and creator of the Bal Arrangé, presents Paris danse ensemble, an adapted, participatory, and inclusive dance workshop.

Paris danse ensemble is an adapted, participatory, and inclusive dance workshop, conceived and led by Johan Amselem, choreographer and artistic director of the company La Halte Garderie – Association AD’RÊV.

Inspired by the Bal Arrangé, the project offers a collective experience in which everyone can join the dance, regardless of their age, physical abilities, experience, or way of moving.

Based on simple instructions, choreographic games, and accessible movements, participants are progressively invited to dance alone, in pairs, or in groups. The workshop prioritises encounter, the pleasure of movement, and adaptation to each person's possibilities.

It is not about learning a choreography to reproduce, but about creating the conditions for all bodies to dance together, in a benevolent, playful, and festive space.

Offered as part of the Quinzaine de l’accessibilité and Paris Bouge Ensemble, Paris danse ensemble makes dance a concrete tool for encounter and participation, where the diversity of bodies and ways of moving becomes the very substance of the collective experience.
