Lola Lafon moves from novel writing to theatre and entrusts the staging of her first play to Emmanuel Noblet, who is dedicated to contemporary writing. At the airport, a group of friends is about to go on holiday; one of their suitcases, too large, is refused by the hostess. The incident is trivial but tempers flare and a brutal word hurled at the airline employee causes discord, an intimate and political disagreement: what do the words that escape us, that we no longer weigh, reveal? Are these friends still friends? Outside the airport, the world, our world, mirrors this: we also clash over words, we speak without dialoguing, a crowd of “I”s wanting to form a “we” without succeeding… Lola Lafon moves from novel writing to theatre and entrusts the staging of her first play to Emmanuel Noblet, who is dedicated to contemporary writing.
