Overview
Revealed by her essential single Banana Split, Lio is today one of the greatest French-speaking pop icons. The release of Banana Split in 1979 paved the way for a series of hits such as Amoureux Solitaires, Amicalement Vôtre, and Week-end à Rome in a duet with Étienne Daho.
With 11 albums to her credit, Lio makes her grand return with a 12th studio album: Geoid Party in the Sky. A record born from the desire to return to her first loves and to pay tribute to the wonderful encounters life has given her.
Then to the wonderful encounters of her career, and it is above all from this that her new project is rich.
Lio then called upon some of the biggest names of the new pop generation: Louane, Hoshi, Corine, Isia Marie, Betta Lemme, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Marie Darrieussecq and Sofia Portanet have all agreed to write for the Belgian-Portuguese icon.
