This is the story of Josef Mengele's wanderings in South America until his mysterious death on a Brazilian beach in 1979. How did the SS doctor manage to slip through the net for thirty years and enjoy such impunity? An adaptation of Olivier Guez's work, La disparition de Josef Mengele is the true novel of his post-war escape, one of the greatest manhunts of the late 20th century.
