Skateboarding and circus share many common points: physical performance, a perfect sense of balance, constant risk-taking, and mastery of falls. However, these disciplines are also subject to a dominant masculinity worldwide. Skateboarding, associated with freedom and creativity, holds a significant place in Brazilian culture. Exceeding the limits imposed by social and gender norms, the artists together explore specific challenges faced by women and forge connections between different cultures and experiences.
