For over ten years, he has explored the depths of language with rare ease, blending verbal acrobatics inherited from Boby Lapointe or Brassens with the flows of Busta Rhymes, Saïan Supa Crew or MC Solaar. His prolific & inventive writing earned him the title of the French-speaking rapper with the most diverse vocabulary (study conducted by Rap Minerz, 2023). On stage, his mastery of flow brings his narratives to life: each track becomes a cinematic adventure, navigating between humour and poetry. Four years after a memorable performance in Gignac, Hippocampe Fou returns to Le Sonambule with a new album. A joyous dive into an imagination that is as fertile as ever.

With their new album Contes Électriques, the trio unfolds high-voltage stories where nervous rock & alternative current electro-pop collide. The tragic & grotesque narratives are embodied by narrator Justin Dreveton, accompanied by Myriem Bayad's rumbling bass and Adrien Lagarde's incisive percussion. Minus doesn't just tell the story of our time: they transform it into a captivating sonic adventure.
