With humour and reflection, the Gandini Juggling troupe, a world reference in juggling, presents a hybrid show here, blending circus, magic, and dance. With Heka, inspired by the Egyptian god of magic, Sean Gandini returns to his first loves and surrounds himself with magicians Yann Frisch and Kalle Nio to push the boundaries of illusion.

THE INTENTION

When I was a child, I wanted to be a magician. What I liked was the training. The first part of the show is inspired by the world of Yann Frisch. What's funny about Yann is that he has the opposite journey to mine; he went from juggling and clowning to magic. We were inspired by one of his first table acts, Baltass, with which he toured the world and won awards. The other parts come from experimental ideas by the Finn Kalle Nio. It's a kind of magic close to visual arts, to performance. Again, what interests us is the gesture. Sean Gandini
