Eiffel

EIFFEL is ROMAIN HUMEAU's rock project. Singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist and producer, Romain Humeau has recorded 12 albums.

Outside of rock codes and standards, his protean productions evolve through multiple registers and regularly change skin without ever losing the thread of the songs.

Influenced by the Art-Rock of Bowie, Pixies, Lennon-McCartney, XTC, Talking Heads as much as Bach, Brel, certain rap and certain electro, Beck, Vian, Coltrane, Depeche Mode, Latin American, Baroque and Romantic music, Eiffel is a permanent [r]evolution.

With nearly 1000 concerts in France, Belgium, Quebec and Switzerland, and a touching closeness to his self-proclaimed hardcore fans “Les Ahuris”, Eiffel is a concrete body, without a virtual avatar.

While “À tout moment la rue”, “Sous ton aile”, “Place de mon cœur”, “Tu vois loin”, “Toi”, “Sombre”, “Te revoir”, “Chercher”, “Echos”, “Je m’obstine”, “Cascade”, “Beauté du diable”, “Hype” among others, have formed the substance of so many concerts, the tracks from “La peur et le vent”, a future album currently being finalised, are intended to be written for the stage.

Changes at all levels. A musical shift tinged with Soul, a blend of 80s drive with the coldness of the world as it is today, and adopting the principle of using no machines for this album. Airy and raw lyrics, warm voice.

A desire to highlight the fact that stage and studio line-ups can change and evolve according to the music. The release of “La peur et le vent” is scheduled for September 2025 and will be accompanied by a substantial tour.
