This exhibition is presented by Martina Chuquet as part of Octobre Rose: the subject is breast cancer, a disease that currently affects one in seven women.
These drawings were created from photos she took herself, from which she selected those that evoke the most significant stages of the disease and whose graphic quality was also a selection criterion.
Some represent places, particularly the hospital for those receiving treatment there, others show the traces left on the body by various interventions. Other drawings depict objects that accompany moments of care in hospitals; they are part of the daily life of the medical world.
