After Les Galets au Tilleul (…), Derrière is the second part of the diptych Le Vide. While these two shows are distinct in form, the main objective is the same: to work from situations that are, at first glance, uninteresting, and to try to extract, with humour and meticulousness, their sensitive, absurd, and poetic essence. With a multitude of makeshift solutions, and relying on the audience's imagination, Derrière mischievously attempts to make a show captivating despite its constant failures, and to sublimate the very relative tragedy of this failure.
