So many memories and family stories are packed into these six suitcases! Thus laden, Ariane Ascaride arrives on stage with all her belongings, determined not to forget anything from her peculiar life story.

There’s certainly plenty to tell when you grow up with a communist father, unfaithful and opera-mad, who blasts the Red Army Choir, and a mother who is almost mute. Naturally, the little girl is a bit “touched by the fairies,” as they say in Marseille, a little bit crazy.
