PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT announce a French tour in spring 2027, during which the band will perform both Joy Division studio albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer, in their entirety.
Released in 1979, Unknown Pleasures was followed a year later by Closer, whose recording was completed shortly before Ian Curtis's passing, before a posthumous release in 1980.
Since then, these two legendary albums have regularly featured among the top spots in rankings of the greatest albums of all time, established by both critics and the public.
They laid the foundations of an enduring legacy: an iconic visual identity, whose covers have inspired millions of T-shirts, a production by Martin Hannett, still as precise and visionary today as it was then, and two albums that remain a major influence for almost all of the most significant bands of the last four decades.
