Overview
“It started when I told her we were expecting a second baby and she replied: This coffee is excellent, that’s a good coffee!” For some time now, Martine has been behaving strangely. She no longer gets up to go to work, says whatever comes to mind, and is obsessed with Jean-Paul II and Guillaume Depardieu. Martine is sixty-three years old when she is told she has a neurological degeneration related to Alzheimer’s. But Martine doesn’t give a damn! In this one-woman show, Delphine Delatte sensitively and humorously tells her mother’s story. Without taboo, she explores the mystery of her metamorphosis. Martine’s fractured brain draws us into the depths of a whimsical and absurd world.
