Tel-Aviv, 1983. Jean Edelstein, 84, a world-renowned composer, agrees to an exceptional interview. Having always protected his private life, he decides to break his silence… The journalist's questions take him back to where it all began: September 1943. A prisoner in Germany, Jean is locked in a cellar. There he meets Lucien, another Frenchman, a mechanic and resistance fighter. Both become the “musical slaves” of a Nazi colonel's music-loving wife. Every day, they must play, sing, and stand — under threat. Music becomes their weapon. Humour, their lifeline. A bond develops. In the shadows, their silences change nature. Carried by the songs of Édith Piaf, an accordion and two male voices, LUNA, le secret de Jean traverses history through the intimate and transforms silences into music.
