Le Schpountz

Irénée is a humble grocery boy working in his uncle's shop near Marseille. He is convinced he has a natural gift and dreams of becoming a film star. A team of Parisian filmmakers passing through for location scouting, amused by the pretensions of this “Schpountz”, sign him a fake acting contract. Swollen with pride and deaf to the warnings of his loved ones, Irénée, contract in hand, goes to Paris and presents himself at the studios. A cult family comedy that pays vibrant homage to laughter and will bring the audience the smiles and tears they need to live. They thought they were playing a prank on a madman, but they stumbled upon a Schpountz unlike any other.
