David Castello-Lopes - Délicieux (Tournée)

Presented by Corpus Prod. NEW SHOW “DÉLICIEUX” I almost called this show “Le plaisir” (Pleasure). And then I thought that the only pleasures one would think of with such a title would be pleasures forbidden to those under 18. However, for financial reasons, I want those under 18 to also be able to attend my show. So I called it “Délicieux” (Delicious): it’s a family show. In an hour and a quarter, I will try to unravel the complexity of what causes pleasure in human beings. Of course, pleasure can come from a glass of Chasselas wine savoured by the lake in spring. But it can also be caused by the death of someone you don't like. Of course, an unexpected promotion at work brings joy. But so does eating Gruyère cheese in Gruyères, or knowing – when you're French – that you don't pronounce the “z” in Étivaz (which allows us to delightfully correct all the idiots who make that mistake). My goal is for this show to bring you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme as delicious as eating Gruyère in Gruyères. David Castello-Lopes
