Born from the encounter between Rosemary Standley, the iconic voice of Moriarty, and Dom La Nena, a French-Brazilian cellist and singer, Birds on a Wire elegantly reinterprets a boundless repertoire, revisiting rock and baroque music as well as treasures from lesser-known folk traditions.
For 14 years now, this nomadic duo has cultivated a unique alchemy, transforming each cover into a refined and magnetic creation. From Violeta Parra to Leonard Cohen, via Jacques Brel, the two artists reinvent a boundless repertoire, weaving links between eras and continents.
In 2025, they open a new musical chapter with the album 'Nuées ardentes', where tracks by The Cure, Bronski Beat, and Barbara take flight on their wings for a timeless sonic journey, carried by a delicate vocal and instrumental dialogue.
