Assassin was the first French rap group to achieve a gold record entirely independently by producing and distributing its music via its own label, Assassin Productions.
The group then became an essential reference and a major influence on this culture in France and internationally. With over a million albums sold and tracks that have become cult classics, Assassin has influenced several generations of artists.
