Agnes Obel – A Dane based in Berlin, she is a classically trained singer, composer, producer, and pianist with an elegant and unique voice.

Her harmonious and melancholic chamber pop draws inspiration from the same intense atmospheres as great names in cinema, while maintaining a refined Scandinavian aura.

This blend of alternative, neoclassical, pop, jazz, and electronic music has achieved immense success in Europe thanks to Philharmonics and Aventine, two platinum-certified albums.

With the exception of a John Cale cover, these two albums were written, performed, and produced by Agnes Obel herself.

Pure, austere, and remarkably poised, this perfect blend of instrumental melodies, atmosphere, melancholic ballads, and unique production has garnered both critical and commercial success.

Her ambitious 2016 album, Citizen of Glass, introduced ghostly electronic sounds, modulated vocals, and a late 1920s monophonic synthesizer called a « Trautonium  » into her universe, positioning her globally as a songwriter, artist, and producer.

In 2018, Agnes Obel signed with Deutsche Grammophon. In the same year, Obel released a compilation Late Night Tales, featuring original compositions and poetry.

In 2020, Obel released her fourth studio album, Myopia, which, like her previous album trilogy, was entirely written, recorded, and produced by herself in her home studio in Berlin.

A major world tour followed with concerts in 18 countries across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Agnes Obel's music holds an essential place in the worlds of television, cinema, video games, and fashion.
