Le Dôme de Marseille

Le Dôme de Marseille is Marseille's main performance venue, situated on the Esplanade Charles Aznavour in the Saint-Just district.

Since 1994, due to its location and structure, Le Dôme has become the essential meeting point for various forms of entertainment in the south of France: rock, variety shows, classical and contemporary dance, theatre, and comedy shows.

The venue can accommodate between 1,200 and 8,500 spectators, depending on the show's configuration.

Its dome, designed by architect Denis Sloan, resembles the hull of an overturned boat and is supported by a 27m high arch.

Thanks to its modular capacity, made possible by a clever system of adjustable curtains, Le Dôme can also host corporate conventions.

Since its inauguration in 1994, Le Dôme has welcomed an average of 300,000 spectators per year.
