About — The artist
The Mission [ðə ˈmɪʃ(ə)n] is a British rock 'n' roll band, originally from Leeds, England. It was formed in 1986 by Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams, two former members of The Sisters of Mercy. They had to change their name to The Mission UK to be able to tour in the United States, where another band already had that name.
