About — The artist
Rim'K, whose real name is Abdelkarim Brahmi, born on June 21, 1978, in Paris, is a French-Algerian rapper, singer, and producer from Vitry-sur-Seine in Val-de-Marne.
He made his mark in the 90s and 2000s alongside the collective Mafia K'1 Fry and the group 113, notably with the albums La cerise sur le ghetto and Les Princes de la ville, considered major works of French rap.
In parallel, he began a solo career in 2004 with the album L'Enfant du pays, certified gold, followed by about ten other musical projects.
He participated in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
