Adolphe Moundi, known as Petit-Pays, is a Cameroonian singer and songwriter, born on June 5, 1967, in Douala.
Nicknamed “Le Turbo d'Afrique” (The Turbo of Africa), “L'avocat défenseur des femmes” (The Women's Defence Lawyer), “Rabba Rabbi”, “Effatta”, and “King of Makossa Love”, Petit-Pays sings in Duala, French, and Pidgin to makossa and zouk tunes. He has authored over thirty albums.
His stage name comes from “Petit” (Small), which was his childhood nickname, and “Pays” (Country), which is the literal translation of his surname Moundi.
