About — The artist
Omar Rajeh is a Lebanese choreographer and dancer considered a pioneer of contemporary dance in Lebanon. His career is marked by more than twenty choreographic creations. He is also the founder of a dance company in 2002, Maqamat, as well as a dance festival, BIPOD, an inter-Arab network, Masahat Dance Network, and a space dedicated to dance and art, Citerne Beirut.
