About — The artist
Kaaris, born Armand-Gnakouri Okou on January 30, 1980, in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), is a French rapper, lyricist, producer, and actor.
In 2013, he released Or noir, produced by Therapy Music. The album was so successful that the artist re-released it, and it is now considered a classic of French rap. He is regarded as the rapper who popularised trap music in France.
