About — The artist
Fun (stylised fun.) is an American indie pop band from New York. It was formed by Nate Ruess, former member of the band The Format. Ruess left Arizona to develop his career in New York. Ruess formed the band with Andrew Dost from the band Anathallo and Jack Antonoff from Steel Train. Fun recorded their first album, Aim and Ignite, in August 2008 with producer Steven McDonald and arranger Roger Joseph Manning, Jr., former keyboardist for Jellyfish.
