About — The artist
Franck Desmedt, born on 23 April 1973, is an actor, director, and theatre manager.
He received the Molière Award for Best Supporting Actor for the play Adieu monsieur Haffmann in 2018. Since 2016, he has been creating a series of portraits of major witnesses of the 20th century. For this work, he was nominated for the Molières 2022 in the "solo performance" category for La Promesse de l'aube by Romain Gary, received the Charles Oulmont Prize and the Brigadier Prize for the same show, and was again nominated for a solo performance at the Molières 2024 for Kessel, la liberté à tout prix.
He currently manages the Théâtre de la Huchette in Paris and regularly performs in various theatrical productions in parallel.
