About — The artist
Elmer Food Beat, sometimes abbreviated EFB, is a French rock band from Nantes, in Loire-Atlantique. Formed in 1986, it is notably characterised by its risqué and humorous lyrics. Their album 30 cm was successful in 1990, with tracks such as Daniela, La Caissière de chez Leclerc, and Le Plastique, c'est fantastique. At the Victoires de la musique 1991, Elmer Food Beat was named best band of the year. After a difficult period, the band went on hiatus in 1993. They made a new start at the end of 2006.
