Disiz (/di.siz/) (stylised disiz), real name Sérigne M'baye Gueye, is a French rapper, singer, composer, actor, and writer, born on 22 March 1978 in Amiens (Somme).
In 2000, encouraged by the success of the Taxi 2 film soundtrack, in which he participated, he released his first album, Le Poisson rouge, which was certified double gold in sixteen months. After a second opus, Jeu de société (2003), his third album, Les Histoires extraordinaires d'un jeune de banlieue (2005), earned him the Victoire de l'album rap, ragga, hip-hop, R'n'B the following year. He then released Disiz the End. (2009) followed by a pop rock album, Dans le ventre du crocodile (2010).
In 2012, he began the release of a “trilogy” with Lucide and Extra-lucide, which he completed with Transe-Lucide two years later. This was followed by three more studio albums: Rap Machine (2015), Pacifique (2017), and Disizilla (2018).
In 2022, the track Rencontre (en) from his new album, L'Amour, was certified diamond single in just under eight months.
In cinema, Disiz starred in Denis Thybaud's film Dans tes rêves, released in 2005. He played Ixe, a young rapper seeking to achieve his dream.
On 26 September 2025, he released a single featuring Theodora on the track melodrama, which in March 2026 became the first song (all languages combined) to spend 23 weeks at number one on the SNEP chart, surpassing Pharrell Williams' record (Happy).
