Destination Noël was a children's television show, broadcast from December 1982 to January 1986 on TF1 and directed by Catherine Malaval.
Among the presenters who hosted it, the singer Plastic Bertrand made his debut as a TV host in France. It was broadcast during the Christmas holiday afternoons from 1982 to 1986, being at the time the replacement show for Les Visiteurs de Noël.
The show's theme song is "Major Tom (S'en aller de la Terre)", performed by Plastic Bertrand in 1983, a French version of the song "Major Tom (Coming Home)" by German singer Peter Schilling.
In this show, the characters who present the show are aliens in a rocket with Christmas decorations.
The cartoons are reruns from the shows Croque-vacances and Mer-cre-dis-moi-tout, as well as Vitamine.
