Catherine Hiegel, born on December 10, 1946, in Montreuil, is a French actress and stage director. Formerly a professor at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, she became a member of the Comédie-Française on January 1, 1976, its doyen on May 27, 2008, before becoming an honorary member on January 1, 2010.
