About — The artist
Blockhead, real name James Anthony “Tony” Simon, born in Manhattan, New York, is an American hip-hop producer. In addition to his solo compositions on the Ninja Tune label, he produces for Aesop Rock, a rapper on the independent hip-hop label Definitive Jux. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside rappers such as S.A. Smash, Slug, Mike Ladd, and Murs. He is also a member and co-founder of the comedy rap group Party Fun Action Committee.
