About — The artist
Benjamin Siksou, born on February 8, 1987, in Ivry-sur-Seine, is a French singer-songwriter and actor. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, violin, percussion), he sings in a style blending jazz, blues, and pop.
He rose to prominence in 2008 through the M6 show Nouvelle Star, where he was a finalist. He released his first album, Au chant du coq, in 2017, followed by his second, Saxophonia, in 2022.
Also an actor, he has worked with directors Jérôme Salle, Abdellatif Kechiche, and Arnaud Desplechin.
He is the brother of writer Jonathan Siksou.
