About — The artist
André Manoukian is a French songwriter and pianist, born on April 9, 1957, in the 4th arrondissement of Lyon. He has also been a columnist, radio and television show host, and actor since the 2000s.
He works on France Inter for the shows Partons en live and Par Jupiter!. On television, he notably hosts La Vie secrète des chansons on France 3 and is occasionally a commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest. Between 2003 and 2016, he was a jury member for the talent show Nouvelle Star, broadcast first on M6 then on D8, and hosted Dédé les doigts de fée on Paris Première from 2007 to 2016.
Primarily acting for television, he has notably appeared in the series Fais pas ci, fais pas ça and Alexandra Ehle on France Télévisions.
